How to find the right employee
I am a great believer in finding the right person to fit in an organisation I am sure most people would agree with that. Easier said than done of course the first task on the list is can the person do the job to a high standard if the answer is no, then move on this is not the person for you unless you are looking to major in mediocrity!
Once you have chosen the person with the skills what next? I am going to write here today about some of the ways the DISC behavioural assessment can help. Recently Extended Disc created a new platform with the FINXs reporting system which is a quick and easy online questionnaire that can provide a whole list of new reports.
Let’s look at 3 reports as to what information is available
Personal report – with management tools to help on board that person in your organisation using their strengths understanding how that person makes decisions what they resist doing and what causes stress and how to overcome it.
Work Pair Analysis – Finding out early what are the points of co-operation and tension between two individuals makes for better productivity and less training costs from employee churn. A must-have report for anyone in a supervisory role.
Job Match – A report that highlights the natural behaviours of a person to the position offered, whether that person will thrive in the environment you intend for them or whether they will shrivel and not fulfil their potential.
